HELPFUL HINTS:

[1] Since solutions (especially the metallics) look very similar before firing, care should be used to maintain adequate labeling of solutions.

[2] Always work out of a separate container to avoid any possible contamination of the solution in the original bottle.

[3] Your glass must be clean of any residue (including oil from hands) - use rubbing alcohol or acetone to clean your glass.

[4] Multiple thin applications are MUCH better than 1 heavy application, which can flake.

[5] Do NOT fire metallics and lusters until they are adequately dry.

[6] Kiln must be vented to allow escape of the vapors from the luster solvents which can dull your finish.
