socket and bulb. Finials hold your shade to the harp. |

HEAVY DUTY HARPS
Sunshine stocks a broad assortment of harps
in both Bright Brass and Antique Brass finishes. Note that these are of
hefty build. Not the light weight styles found in most lighting stores
or big box home improvement stores.
Lighting store harps are made for light weight paper or fabric shades. Ours are
sturdy and made for your glass shade.
Harps include yoke (bottom U shaped piece
that fastens to your lamp base) and upper section. The hole on the yoke
will slip your standard 3/8 threaded pipe, the stud at the top has
1/4x27 threads.
Harp height is the total height from
bottom of yoke to top disk. Size is stamped on bottom of top disk.

SHADE RISERS
Does your lamp shade look a little low when
it is set on the harp? Shade Risers are the quick and easy answer. These
handy guys screw into the threaded studs at the top of the harp, adding
from 1/2 to 1-1/2 inches to the harp height.
Solid brass, 1/4x27 threads on both ends.

FINIALS |
Use finials to tighten down on the
vase cap, holding your shade to your lamp base.
All finials are threaded with 1/8IP threads which means they will
thread on to 3/8" diameter threaded rods. To screw finials to the
1/4x27 threads on the top studs on harps, you will need a
Reducing
Bushing (an adapter). |

STANDARD FINIALS
These are the same finials that come with
our lamp bases. They are also called "pyramid knobs" in the lighting
fixture industry.

REDUCING BUSHING
These solid brass bushings will "reduce" the
3/8" diameter threads found on the finials above to the 1/4" threads on
the stud at the top of harps. There is a shoulder on these bushings to
keep them from screwing too far inside the finials and to facilitate
their removal.

LOOPS |
|
If you are hanging your shade rather
than using a lamp base, you will need a hanging loop.

Note regarding Male Loop #6071:
This loop has a short length of 1/8IP threaded rod cast into the loop.
This will let you connect a crossbar and socket directly to the loop, eliminating
the need for a separate length of threaded rod.
