HOTLINE STRESS TESTER (#02541)

This kit can be used with nearly any light source (typically a battery powered flashlight) to give an indication of stress when testing glass for compatibility. Includes diffusing lens, two polarized lenses and instructions (flash light is NOT included).

NOTE: To observe stress, place one polariod filter UNDER the fused glass to be tested and hold the second filter closely OVER the fused glass, sandwiching the glass between the filters. Rotate the filter until the maximum light blockage occurs. At this point a halo or flare will appear if excess stress is present. The halo will not appear if stress does not exist.
