TINNED COPPER WIRE |
|
TINNED COPPER WIRE is used as
accents and detail lines. The wire is coated with a thin layer of
solder to match your copper foil or leaded piece. And with the
thin solder coating, this wire solders like a dream. The
copper used in this wire is soft tempered so it bends to shape easily.
Heavier 12 gauge wire can be used for
stems for flowers.
Use lighter 22 gauge wire for fine details on flower petals or cat
whiskers.

Tinned wire on spools is the most
economical way to pick up your tinned wire.
16 and 18 gauge wires are the most
popular wire sizes and buyers are evenly split on the number of
1/4 lb and 1 lb spools sold.
The heavier 12 and 14 gauges are
often used to strengthen and reinforce lamp borders.
